Having compared EU reports in the German press, we have found that Handelsblatt is the leader among the EU business reports (between 4 and 6 per week), discovering exclusive mainstream news and presenting it with a fair and balanced background. Though Handelsblatt black still lacks a lot of B2B backrgound, it at least offers once per week space for an EU-related open-ed on their editorial opinion page. This goes beyong the German media average that focusses on EU issues only occasionally, oft linked to scandals.
