David Král is the president of the Institute for European policy EUROPEUM, a Czech NGO. He is also teacher at Metropolitan University Prague and Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University Prague. During negotiations on the European Convention on the future of Europe and intergovernmental conference in 2003-2004 he was a member of advisory groups to the Czech representative in the Convention and to the prime minister. He is also a member of Board of PASOS (Policy Association for an Open Society). David Král is expert on such issues as Lisbon Treaty, EU enlargement, or external relations.
EUROPEUM is an NGO active in the fields of European integration and transition process in the Czech Republic and other new EU member countries. It articulates opinions towards actual EU and national legislation. EUROPEUM regularly organises summer schools focused on EU issues, it is participating in many EU projects and publishes wide range of expert studies on European Union.
